I assume everyone here had a reasoning behind their usernames - otherwise I'd be joined in this thread by names such as Jeff0835, Nancy_Smith, and the like.
So, if you feel ok with this, how about you share with us what's the story with your screen name? Is it really special, or were you just in a creative rut and picked whatever object was nearest in your room as your name? Did you use a name generator? Is it an anagram? Did you steal it from someone? IDENTITY THEFT IS NOT A JOKE, JIM, MILLIONS OF FAMILIES SUFFER EVERY YEAR-
But yeah, anyway, let's share! I'll start.
The "Complete Wing-Back" is a role in Football Manager, and it is applicable to full backs and wing backs. What they do is they play as a regular wing-back would, which means in defense, but they're made to attack first and foremost, often leaving the brunt of their defensive duties to whichever midfielder is covering their vertical runs. Complete Wing-Backs usually have to be perfect in physique, technique, and mind, hence the name "Complete", and will often be found in high-level teams who play high pressing football or on teams who play no wingers and need an outlet at the flanks.
So? What's yours?

Vray is the nickname used for one of my main protagonists in the story I'm currently writing. I formed a sort of kinship with the name to a degree as well as enjoyed the type and like names with the letter 'v' at the start. It later had some variations aside from Vragon and Vray, like V-ray and all, which I use for more competative stuff.

Mine's actually pretty interesting. When I was in middle school (this is the period from 11-14, for those who aren't from the US), I was a very shy kid. Didn't like people calling attention to me. Some bullies in school knew this, and would constantly start chanting "Dan the Man" over and over again to make me super uncomfortable. However, one day in 8th grade, another kid, noticing this, started chanting "D-T-M-Aha-Nen" over and over again when the other kids started to make me uncomfortable. Needless to say, it worked, and they eventually stopped. I've used it ever since.
In case you were wondering why that in particular, it's a word jumble. "Dtmahanen" is a word jumble of "Dan the man", which I've always found fun.

There is a series called Chaos Walking where the man character has a dog named Manchee. I loved him while reading and thought the name was easy and catchy.

Minty ... actually came from the name of a Sailor Venus fansite from waaaaaayyyy back in the day, Mint Chocolate Chip. Sailor Venus wasn't even my favorite sailor senshi. I just happened to like the name, lmao. (The site also had a pretty rad layout, ngl. It was super underground, and it might've influenced my aesthetic for a while.)
The rest of my username pretty much everywhere (Electronica) was just something I tacked on to make the whole thing sound sci-fi-ish. Which I had to do because every other variation of everything involving mint was already taken as a Tumblr URL.

My original name, Cavespider came from Minecraft (since favourite Mob), and when I joined communities people just shortened it to Cave, which then turned into Cavey. So yeah... not that exciting, but kinda glad it was given to me rather than self picked (I guess, kinda) .

Reading Blade was my username but after being called Reading many times around Discord and such I decided to just shorten it to that, I have plenty other past usernames in my online life but I mostly forgotten them all. (Whoops)
Reading Blade was a fusion of reading and swords(because I love swords, Great aesthetic!.) and of course I loved reading since I was child, I was the kid that read tech manuals and magazines in his spare time for fun. (Yes, for reals.) : D
So yeah, I think the username Reading fits me pretty well!

Hmm I came up with my username because of my love of Mario games, and the 9501 just came to my mind, it stuck and used the combination of mario and 9501.

Mine was basically formed on a whim. Back in mid-2018 I wanted an account on Fanfiction.net, but I didn't really have a good username in mind. I also happened to be a major eeveelution fan then, and my fave at the time was Espeon. And the word "sparkling" sounded flashy, which I also very much liked. I typed "SparklingEspeon" in on a whim, expecting to come up with something better later and then just decided I liked it and never changed it. That's kind of a running trend with names for me.

It's basically a song that was done by my hero Troy Baker. I really liked how it sounded, and I basically went along with it. <3
