I figured we could do with a topic where people can share little things that made their day and/or vent about stuff that's frustrating them.
To start, so my job told me not to come in today because of inclement weather. They said this before any snow and freezing rain started falling. I will never understand how schools handle inclement weather policies. I swear, administrators are just waiting for someone else to take action, and then they all follow suit like a bunch of sheep. XP

Meantimes, I feel ya on the inclement weather front. I had to head in myself, and just walking to and from the bus was nearly not worth it. Kids, let's just say that if there's any risk of slipping on a sidewalk and breaking something, I wholeheartedly encourage you to take the lazy route and stay home with a cup of tea.
On the positive side on my end, that's what a lot of coworkers did, so I got a lot of work done in peace, haha.

I want to throw a chair out of the window today, due to trying to finish some stupid seven segment circuit that eventually lead to me being unable to make it work and therefore finally giving up.
On the bright side of things, at least I'm haven't gotten the flu and am doing fine. |

I played Breath of the Wild from, like... 9am-5pm, lol. |

So, for a while our kitchen sink had been clogged up and needed fixing. My dad fixed the kitchen sink a few weeks ago, but then today my mom did something to make the sink clogged up again oops. Sink probably won't get fixed until the weekend, oh well.

I guess I should chime in with what's been going on with me. I finished the first full draft of my second essay, and it needs some somewhat major revisions (some of which I've already made), but overall, I'm feeling good about it. Finally getting some good sleep definitely helps too.

The only writing I've done this weekend so far was for my food blog. (Can I link that here? Or in a signature or something?) I plan to do some work on Hawlucha Man tomorrow though.

So yesterday I didn't go into work at my normal time, meaning I adjusted my hours today to reflect it, and it's been a weird day to say the least. The university had a free food event where they had unhealthy vs healthy options (like pasta salad vs mac & cheese, loaded potato soup vs vegetable soup) and that was fun, but then there was also a stress relief drum circle that my co-worker and I went to where we just played some drums, maracas, xylophones, etc and that was a great break in the day, lol.
Also made tons of phone calls reminding incoming students to sign up for summer orientation... so... many... calls...

So earlier, I accidentally thought it was 4AM. I took my morning pills without double checking the time. x.x I'm perfectly fine... just can't sleep or anything like that. I've made this mistake before, and it never made me sick and stuff.
