Okay, total stab in the dark here, I admit. But, anyway, I've been recently thinking about ponying up to get a Switch because I've waited long enough and finances weren't exactly right, yadda yadda.
I know some of you have mentioned owning a Switch, so I wanted to ask for recommendations for a "Switch Starter Kit," so to speak. I'm already pretty confident I'll be getting a Pro Controller. But are there other accessories you guys would recommend? E.g. a larger SD card or a carrying case. Also, does anyone own a GameCube Controller Adapter that they've used with their Switch? I hear it's actually compatible, and was hoping someone could tell me if that's true, and what the controllers can do.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! ^_^

If you enjoy Mariokart8 then I'd recommend the Deluxe. It comes with all the DLC and still can be used for online play. For action RPG I'd go with the JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Also, if you don't have Skyrim, it's a fun game that's now on the Switch with the DLC There are a few indie games you can look up on the Nintendo Eshop and for one last recommendation I'd go with either Breath of the Wild or Odyssey. Two games I have yet to play, but plan on playing.

Yes to the larger SD card. If you want indies and DLC, it's kinda gonna be a must. Also, if you want something that's just stupid and fun, and potentially a good time-waster, they're rereleasing Hyrule Warriors on the Switch, and I freaking love that game to death.

I would definitely recommend a carrying case if you plan on bringing it anywhere. I've travelled with mine back and forth to a friend's place a few times and was so worried about damaging it, but it got annoying and bulky to keep packing up in the box it came in, so I would think an official case to put your stuff in would be nicer. Also, the neon yellow joy cons are so vibrant! As are the red/blue ones, and for pure aesthetics they look awesome and you should go with them ;D They're surprisingly comfortable when put together, but on their own they can get uncomfortable, tbh, so a pro controller is a good idea.
As for games, I'm picky and only really recommend Breath of the Wild so far, lol.
