Hello everyone!
Make sure to check out the previous thread to see our inaugural issue of the Underground! But this is no time to rest on our laurels, so we're going to move forward and open up submissions for Issue 2! Once again, to submit you'll have to upload things to a Google Drive (SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED) as a DOCX, TXT, or ODT file, or just paste your submission into a Google Doc and put it in that folder, and you're all set! We are also accepting artwork, and I believe you can just upload the image file to the Drive for that. Submissions are open from now until May 1.
The submission guidelines are as follows:
This time, we're adding something new to the Underground: Reviews! We will feature one review per issue, but these will be more in the style of a Kirkus review than a forum review. Submission of a review is independent of submission of a fic (meaning you can submit a fic and a review), so find a fic on the Library that you like and really sell it to the other users. Ideally, this would be used to highlight an up-and-coming fic that may not have garnered much attention on the forum. Feel free to refer to Kirkus-style reviews and crib off of that format when submitting. This will be less of a line by line grammatical review and more of one highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of the chosen fic, and why people should be reading it.
Good luck, and I hope to see all of your submissions soon!

The submission guidelines are as follows:
- All Library guidelines regarding inappropriate content apply here. If you need a refresher course, please refer to the rules.
- Please limit yourself to one submission per user per issue.
- There are no hard and fast limits on word counts or page length, nor is there a minimum threshold, but please use your best judgment. 10k words is fine, but 50k? Probably not.
- If you are submitting a chapter of a fic rather than a one-shot, please limit yourself to one chapter per submission. If you are submitting the first chapter and your fic has a prologue, we will handle that on a case by case basis.
- If you submit a fic and it is not published in an issue, feel free to submit it again the next time submissions open up.
- That being said, the Underground is meant as a showcase of the work presently on the forum, and we would like to keep our features current. We prefer to feature the noteworthy works of the moment, rather than something posted several months previously.
- When submitting, please format your submission as follows: [Name of Fic], [Chapter Number (if applicable)] - [Forum Username]
- If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to me, either here or on the Discord
