Oh wow, this is quite something! I didn't have any real idea of what to expect going into this, given the pretty minimal description, and I found it really charming. It's been some time since I last revisited Time/Darkness/Sky, so I may be misremembering, but as far as I can tell you've captured the characters really well; Wigglytuff and Chatot are just as they are in my memory, for instance, and in the brief glimpse we get of the partner, they're definitely the shy, easily-intimidated sort, just as we know them from the game.
But clearly there are differences here. Hypno is a step up from Drowzee, and Seadra has somehow slithered into the protagonist's life with a sinister, emphatic insistence that they're best friends and by the way the hero can trust NOBODY else, d'you hear me? So clearly that's all going to work out really well and there's nothing to worry about at all. What makes it interesting, though, is that Chatot and Wigglytuff don't immediately contradict Seadra, so clearly it doesn't strike people as weird that Seadra and the protagonist are hanging out and working on missions together. There's something here, but I can't quite unravel it yet, and I'll definitely look forward to figuring it out as we go!
The pacing does sometimes feel a little off here and there, but perhaps that's just an artefact of the medium and the way it jumps from scene to scene and conversation to conversation; it's not apparent enough to be an issue, anyway, because the atmosphere is so good -- like, you've got the killer PMD soundtrack, and you imitate the writing style of the games really well, too. It's just really good fun, honestly. Looking forward to your next part!

Thanks for reading!
My aim to to capture the PMD2 feel as much as possible. Everything from the font used to the soundtrack to the portraits of whoever is speaking to the notes in Chatot's dialogue was an attempt at that, so I'm glad you think I captured it well.
Seadra is the big mystery of the story for now. Is he up to something or is he just someone who is well-intentioned but very blunt? All will be revealed...
Since you mentioned it, pacing is something that may be an issue since I won't be able to have twenty minutes of gameplay between scenes like the games do. And I can only do a limited amount of battling unless I want to put together the same panel forty separate times. If I have the starter use Bubble, for instance, it might make perfect sense if the reader chose Squirtle but not if they chose Chimchar. My plan is that whenever the jump between two scenes seems to sudden I'll add a few panels of starter introspection, just like the kind we got in the games.

I love how incredibly unique this is. The amount of effort you must have put into this must have been insane. I love how you can pick your character and gender and how personal you have made this adventure. The story feels like it is pretty reflective of a PMD and I really hope you add a PMD 2, (if you are still working on it) since it would be a real shame if it didn’t happen. Although, I did think the music is a little loud in places. I really enjoyed this so far.
