So, this piece is just like a small one from me, since I don't recall ever doing a RTB before, and yeah, I just wanted to do something small, so I hope you enjoy.

I finish editing the last page of the chapter, aware that he will be here soon. Here to finish me off and retake control. This is the Cathedral. The stone bricks are shoddy and falling apart, just like he wanted it to be. The bell is close to collapsing and the sun has nearly set. The orange light beams in, shining down on me.
I hear heavy footsteps pad on the tiled floor.
The tiles, of course, are stained with blood. The blood of my friends… the ones he suggested I had to protect. My sword is in front of me, with a dull blade. Slowly I wrap my fingers around it and turn to face him. The author.
“Of course,” I say, looking at him. “Very fair.” He has the most overpowered armour in this world and the best weapon. “It comes to this then, huh?” I tilt my scarred face. “Ha, I wanted to see what the world made of your monstrous fantasy. I took over this fiction to show them what you were.” I look squarely at him, but he just looks at me coldly, and without emotion back. “Everything you did, you… you made me kill them all… didn’t you? Ha, ha, ha…” I can feel my eye twitch as I look back at him. “Really... I could have just saved them all… by changing the story, but, well… you would have definitely known something was up. So… I copied… every… last… word. Then I changed our names and by doing so I could change their fate. Unfortunately, well… it turns out I did too good of a job, huh? Readers flocked in. ”
He takes a step forward and goes to slash at me, but he seems to be waiting for something.
“Ha, ha, ha… now you are in my world. You have to obey my rules. Don’t you understand that? Entities like me… we get the first attack. It is a turn based mechanic, right? Just like you wanted it to be. And you know what the best part is? You can’t block or attack until I make the first move. Ha, ha, ha. Tell me, author, how does it feel to be trapped in this world with your own creation?” I swing my sword at him, narrowly missing him.
He swings a forceful slice at my face, making me dodge to the left.
“I am no fool. Did you really think I wouldn’t change the rules, knowing you were coming? Of course I changed them to benefit me! I know I will die here. You know what? That’s okay.” Tears roll down my face as I lie. “Because at least then… I will be with my friends again. Every day I wished for that. Every day since you wrote me killing them.”
He smirks at me, readying an attack.
“Go ahead.” I open my arms up and allow the original author to slash down my stomach. I stumble backwards and fall. “Ha, ha, ha…” I start to laugh as the pain consumes me. “You know, you really should… read the… whole… story… first…” I struggle for air. “I… guess… you… didn’t. If… you did… you would… know… you… can’t leave here… now…” Resting my head against the cold floor, I close my eyes.
